The Forest and Wildlife Department's first forest museum at Kulathupuzha, Kollam, offers visitors an opportunity to immerse themselves in the beauty and sights of the forest. With a budget of ₹9.85 crore, the museum is designed to provide an immersive experience of the forest through sound and light. The museum showcases specimens of various forest varieties in Kerala, wildlife sculptures, and tribal cultural heritage.

The museum includes a children's park, displays of forest products and timber species, an information center, a snack bar, and a guest house. The facility aims to expand its role as a learning center for students and researchers, both from within and outside Kerala, fostering a greater understanding of nature and acting as a hub for forest conservation activities. A virtual zoo, created using AI and VR technology, will offer visitors a unique experience.

Tickets are priced at ₹50 for adults and ₹20 for children, and the museum is open from 10 am to 6 pm.
