As part of the National Polio Eradication Program, the Pulse Polio Immunization Program will be held on March 3rd in the State. A total of 23,282,58 children under five years of age will be administered the polio vaccine. 23,471 booths, including transit booths located at schools, Anganwadis, libraries, railway stations, bus stands, and airports, as well as mobile booths at guest labor camps and tourist spots, will be operational. For this program, 46,942 volunteers and 1,564 supervisors were trained. The booths will be open from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. On March 4th and 5th, volunteers will visit homes to administer polio drops to children who were unable to receive them.
