As part of intensifying property tax collection the penal interest on property tax payable to local self-government bodies has been waived until March 31, 2024. The exemption will assist in paying off property tax arrears. For those currently paying penalty interest along with property tax, this amount will be adjusted in next year's property tax. Property tax arrears from previous years can also be paid without penalty and interest.
