The Kerala State Handicapped Persons Welfare Corporation is offering financial assistance of ₹25,000 to support the establishment of micro and small self-employment enterprises. This assistance is part of the Relief Scheme aimed at differently-abled individuals who lack assets to provide collateral for self-employment loans. Applicants must have a disability of 40 percent or more, be at least 18 years old, and not have received any subsidized loans or financial aid for the same purpose from the Corporation or other government entities.

Preference will be given to severely differently abled, differently abled widows, those suffering from serious illnesses, parents of mentally challenged children above 14 years of age, senior differently abled persons, and those in financial need.
