Kudumbashree Balasabha is organizing a cleanliness campaign starting on the 22nd of this month to address the challenges faced by Kerala in the field of waste management. The main objective of this campaign is to create social awareness about the importance of effective waste management. A total of 3.9 lakh members from 28,387 Balsabhas will participate in various cleanliness activities and message campaigns. Bala Sabha which makes a significant contribution to reducing the level of waste will receive funding to start a children's library. 

A literary camp, writing workshop, and art competitions will also be organized as part of the campaign to engage the children. At the conclusion of the campaign, an environmental rally will be held in all CDSs, and awards will be given to the best-performing children and Bala Sabhas.
