Applications are invited for the State Young Scientist Award 2024, instituted by the Kerala Council for Science, Technology, and Environment to honor young scientists who have made remarkable research achievements in the fields of science and technology in Kerala. Young scientists born in India and conducting research in the fields of science and technology in Kerala can apply for the awards in 14 categories. The upper age limit is 37 years. Applications for research awards, along with copies of nomination certificates, should be submitted by August 31. The awardees will receive a cash prize of Rs 50,000, a citation, and the Chief Minister's Gold Medal. Awardees will also get the opportunity to undertake a research project and receive a travel grant for a foreign visit to present their dissertation.Nominations and related documents in the prescribed format should be submitted to the Director, State Council of Science, Technology, and Environment, Sastra Bhavan, Pattom, Thiruvananthapuram-695004.
