The moratorium announced on the recovery of loans taken by fishermen from various financial institutions and individuals has been extended. Extended for six months from 01.01.2022 to 30.06.2022. The moratorium on loans taken by fishermen till 31.12.2008 for extension of purchase of fishing gear, housing, education of children, treatment and marriage of daughters has been extended. The benefit will be given for including foreclosure proceedings initiated or continued.
