Supplyco’s mobile outlets will be set up in every district to deliver subsidized goods directly to the people and to curb inflation. The goods will be distributed by five mobile units in a district within two days. The inauguration of the project will be held on November 30th in Thiruvananthapuram and in the coming days it will be implemented in other districts too.

A mobile vehicle will reach five centers in a taluk a day and deliver goods to ration cardholders. The arrangement is in such a way that a mobile unit will deliver at ten points in a taluk in two days. Thus, in two days, five vehicles will reach 50 points in a taluk. The mobile outlets will give priority to coastal, hilly, and tribal villages.

The project is being implemented by procuring goods at 52 depots in five regions of the state. The scheme is designed to ensure that the supply of subsidized goods through other maveli outlets is not affected.
