The KSEB (Kerala State Electricity Board) has introduced a one-time settlement scheme to address outstanding electricity bill arrears with an interest concession. This scheme is applicable to arrears that have accrued for more than 2 years, including those with pending revenue recovery proceedings or ongoing court proceedings.

For low tension customers, this service can be availed of at their respective section office, while high tension customers should visit the office of the Special Officer Revenue.The interest rates for arrears are : 4% interest on arrears older than 15 years.5% interest on arrears between 5 to 15 years. 6% interest on arrears between 2 to 5 years. The payment of interest on electricity dues, can be made in 6 installments. Additional 2% discount on the total interest amount is available if the entire electricity dues, along with the interest, are settled in one payment. For more detailed information,  visit kseb.in.
