Dr. V. Venu will take over as the Chief Secretary, and Dr. Sheikh Darvesh Sahib will assume the position of Police Chief on July 1. The new appointments come following the retirement of the current Chief Secretary, VP Joy, and Police Chief, Anil Kant.
