Group Personal Accident Insurance Scheme of State Government Employees has been extended from 1 January 2023 to 31 December 2023. The annual premium amount for government employees is Rs.500, Autonomous Institutions University/Public Sector/Cooperative Institutions Rs.500 + GST, KSRTC Employees Rs.600 + GST, and KSEB Employees Rs.850 + GST. The promised amount will remain at 10 lakhs. Cases of suicide, accidents due to alcohol and drug use, and accidents due to violation of the law are not covered under GPAIS scheme.

 It is the responsibility of the concerned DDO to ensure SLI, GIS scheme membership for employees. SLI and GIS are not applicable to SLR category employees and part-time contingent employees in government service but GPAIS is applicable for them.
