The Minority Welfare Department has invited applications for UGC/CSIR-NET exam coaching. Eligible candidates include permanent residents of Kerala belonging to the Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Parsi, and Jain communities. Applicants must have secured at least 55% marks in their first-year postgraduate exams and be currently pursuing their second year in government or aided colleges. Those who have completed postgraduate studies with a minimum of 55% marks are also eligible.
Students are selected based on annual family income and marks, with special consideration given to BPL students belonging to religious minorities. In the absence of BPL applicants, the APL category with annual income up to Rs.8 lakhs will also be considered.
The list of selected coaching institutions and the application form are available on the department's website: www.minoritywelfare.kerala.gov.in. Applicants must complete the form and submit it to the Course Coordinator of their preferred training institution, either in person or by post. The submission deadline is December 23.
