The state government invited nominations for the Vanitharatnam Award, which honours women who have excelled in various fields. The award is presented across various fields, including social service, sports, overcoming adversity and achieving success, women and children's empowerment, as well as notable contributions in education, science and technology, and the arts. Organizations, institutions, or individuals may nominate eligible candidates. Nominations must be submitted to the District Women and Child Development Officer by October 10.
