
'Ente Bhoomi' is a massive project to prepare digital survey records of all villages in the state to accomplish the goal of land for all, document for all land, and all services are smart. The survey aims to complete the digital survey of 1,550 of the total 1,666 villages in Kerala in four years. The project is being implemented with full public participation. The survey will begin in the state on November 1.
The objective of the digital survey is to measure the whole of Kerala digitally for the first time in the history of the state formation. Rs.856.42 crores had been earmarked to complete the digital survey.1500 surveyors and 3200 helpers will be recruited for the project through employment exchange.
The digital survey is carried out using advanced survey techniques such as Continuously Operating Reference Stations (CORS), Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) Rover, Robotic ETS and Drone. The process of setting up 28 COR stations in the state is in the final stage. With the help of RTK machines, the digital survey is intended to be completed quickly, accurately, and transparently using the signals received from these control stations.Drone technology will be utilized in areas where it is practical. Besides enabling a complete cadastral survey of Kerala, a topographical survey is also included in the project. Through this, the project aims to measure the private land and government land in such a way as to solve all the land issues of the state. Completion of the digital survey and preparation of digital land records will help in the coordination of various disaster management activities.
