Directorate of Industries & Commerce

Directorate of Industries and Commerce is the functional arm of Industries & Commerce Department of Govt. of Kerala to promote Micro Small and Medium Enterprises in the State. The Directorate has been engaged in the identification and skill development of entrepreneurs, providing infrastructure support, extending assistance to get licenses and clearances, providing financial assistance through various schemes, helping to identify marketing avenues, dispute resolution and to revive and rehabilitate the stressed and defunct units. The Directorate of Industries & Commerce Department is located at Vikas Bhavan, Thiruvananthapuram, headed by the Director of Industries & Commerce.

The State Industrial Policy-2023

The State Industrial Policy-2023 has been introduced with revolutionary changes and schemes in the industrial sector. The policy aims to focus on modern industries to make Kerala the most developed industrial hub in the country. The Kerala Industrial Policy 2023 is a comprehensive plan that seeks to attract investments, foster innovative ideas, and create a sustainable business environment.Various activities have been planned for the financial year 2023-24 to make it an investment year.
