Sam Pitroda put forward 10 business plans
--In addition to 10 development programmes

Prime Minister’s advisor and Kerala’s mentor Sri. Sam Pitroda put forward his second round of proposals meant for the development of business. The ten- point business plan comprises of five business sectors viz. Coastal navigation, Knowledge city, Ayurveda, Waste management and e-Governance. Earlier, Sam Pitroda put forward ten development programmes during his previous visit. Out of these, Job-oriented education, Skill enhancement, Medical insurance, Utilizing the services of retired government officials, Modernization of traditional industries and High-speed rail corridor will be taken up by the State government, the Chief Minister Sri. Oommen Chandy said. Sri. Pitroda will submit the detailed plan within sixty days.
The government has formed a co-ordination committee for the effective and smooth coordination of all projects proposed by Shri. Pitroda. The committee includes Vice-Chairman of the State Planning Board Shri. K.M. Chandrasekhar, Chief Secretary Shri. K. Jayakumar, Economic Advisor to the Chief Minister Shri. Shaffi Mather, Finance Secretary Shri. V.P. Joy, Secretary (Planning) Shri. Subrata Biswas besides members of Shri. Pitroda's team.
Shri. Pitroda expressed the hope that the initiatives would play a key role in the development of Kerala in the next three years.
