          The Kerala State Cooperative Textile Federation Limited (TEXFED) was established during 1992    with the objective   to plan, advise, assist, coordinate, monitor, supervise, set up, manage and other facilitate the organization and working of the Cooperative Textile units in the state   entrusted, affiliated or leased to the Federation or owned by the Federation so also to arrange for manufacturing all textile products, dealing in and supply of all textile machinery, equipments, raw materials, consumable stores, spares etc. The Federation office is functioning in a rented building at Devaswom Board Junction, Kowdiar, Thiruvananthapuram.

This Mill was set up in 1993 and commissioned the Ist phase of 6000 spindles in 1996.     The expansion programme to  enhance the capacity to 25000 spindles is going on .  

The Mill produce cotton yarn of 40s carded and 40s & 60s combed auto cone yarn from May 2006..

This Mill was set up during 1994 and  the first phase of 6000 spindles was completed during 2003.  Now this mill also under expansion to 25000 spindles.

The mill produces  cotton yarn of 42s, 62s, 80s carded and 40s carded Honey (EYC), 40s & 60s combed autocone   yarn from May 2006.

The Mill was started during 1957. The mills is working with a capacity of 25000 spindles.  

The mill produces 62s and 40s carded cotton yarn and 20s hank yarn.

The mill was commissioned during 1980 with 25000 spindle capacity. Only this mill has plant exclusively for making synthetic yarn. The mill produces 66s combed, 50s polyester cotton, 60s polyester cotton, 32s polyester cotton, 50s polyester and 60s polyester yarns.
