            The main objective of Printing Department is to undertake and execute all printing and binding works of Government, in Secretariat and other Departments, Legislature, Judiciary etc. All the Acts Bills, Rules ordinances, Codes, Manuals, Kerala Gazette Ordinary and Extra Ordinary, other departmental publications, Text Books, Government Diary, Calendar, Lottery Tickets, Multi Colour Poster, Forms and Registers for various Government Departments etc. are being printed in the Government Presses.

           The Kerala Gazette is being published every Tuesday and circulated to Governor, Ministers and Various Departments. All Departmental Notifications, Government Orders, Tenders of Departments, Notifications on legal heirship, Court Notifications, Notifications from public regarding change of name/signature, Religion Caste correction etc. are also published in the Gazette.

           Gazette can be obtained by individuals, Colleges, Libraries, Municipal Offices, etc by subscribing to the same. Details and rates can be had from the notification appended.
